on the object to bring up the marking menu and select <strong>Face<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator break\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Rotate the perspective view so you look at the bottom of the flat cube you created.<\/li><li>Select the four polygons on the corners of the underside<\/li><li>Click on the <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bluehawk.monmouth.edu\/~wkoning\/instruct\/Model\/img\/interface\/ShelfPoly_Extrude_2016.png\"><strong>Extrude<\/strong> icon<br>(command can be found in the <strong>Polygons<\/strong> menu under <strong>Edit Mesh<\/strong>)<\/li><li>Pull on the blue arrow of the manipulator that appears (the Y axis) and pull the polygons down to create the legs of the look at the top of the stool you created.<\/li><li>Select (switch to select tool by hitting <strong>q<\/strong>the two polygons on the corners in the back of the topside<\/li><li>Click on the <strong>Extrude<\/strong> icon and pull on the blue arrow, pulling the polygons up a bit to create beginning of back of the chair.<\/li><li>Click on the <strong>Extrude<\/strong> icon again and pull polygons on the inside of the back-sides you just created<\/li><li>Rotate your view and shift select (add to selection) the polygon facing it on the other side<\/li><li>Click on
